Outpatient Treatment That Works

Getting help for addiction and chronic mental health issues shouldn’t mean putting your life on hold. At Boston Addiction Treatment in Peabody, MA, we offer intensive day treatment programs that let you get expert help while sleeping in your own bed each night. Whether you’re struggling with drugs, alcohol, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, trauma, or a combination of those, our programs give you the structure and support you need to build lasting recovery.

Our intensive outpatient programs are full-day and half-day, three-to-five days a week, and scheduling is flexible, as it’s based off of your needs. If you’re struggling with a severe addiction or mental health condition, we may recommend that you start in our Full-Day Outpatient Program, five days per week. If your schedule won’t permit that, then our Half-Day Outpatient Program may be a better fit. Either way, we’ll work with you to find the treatment program that works with your life and your schedule.

For those in our addiction treatment programs, we also offer detox placement services where we connect you with a detox center in our trusted network. After detox, you’ll be able to seamlessly transition into one of our outpatient programs. And for those with an underlying mental health issue that’s exacerbating their addiction, we offer primary mental health treatment.

Day Treatment vs. Residential Rehab

Day treatment works differently than traditional residential care. Here’s what you need to know:

  • …attend treatment during the day
  • …sleep at home each night
  • …keep family connections strong
  • …have lower overall costs
  • …get more real-world exposure
  • …can use insurance
  • …don’t pay living expenses
  • …get well on their terms
  • …live at the facility 24/7
  • …have limited home contact
  • …have higher overall costs
  • …are in a 24/7 supervised environment
  • …enjoy less daily freedom
  • …are responsible for room and board expenses
